A 20-year-old lady claims that two men drugged her, kidnapped her in an autorickshaw, and assaulted her for two days in the Kodad hamlet of Suryapet, Telangana. The police opened a gang-r*pe case based on the accusation and detained the two suspects. The police have detained two of the persons she identified, one of them is the son of a local Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) politician. According to reports, the governing Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leaders, a TRS councillor’s son, and another man were arrested by Kodad police on Monday for allegedly kidnapping and gang-r*ping a woman.
