Kerala Nursing student attempts suicide in Anjireddy Nursing College – Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh – Palnadu district, Narasaraopet: A student attempted suicide at Anjireddy Nursing College, Kondamodu, Rajupalem mandal. Vismay, a first-year nursing student from Kerala, is studying. It is learnt that some students had mentally harassed Vismay by accusing her of stealing and that she had been severely reprimanded by the teachers after she complained to them. She became upset and jumped off the building and committed suicide. Vismay was rushed to Piduguralla Anjireddy Hospital and was shifted to Narasaraopet Hospital after her condition deteriorated. It is learnt that Vismay’s condition is critical. The police have registered a case and are investigating. The full details of the incident are yet to be known. There have been several allegations against Anjireddy colleges in the past as well. It remains to be seen in which direction the police investigation will continue.
