Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh – In a dramatic development, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called the death of watchman Ranganna “highly suspicious” and raised concerns about possible foul play. The remarks came during a cabinet meeting, where an extensive discussion was held about Ranganna’s tragic demise. The deceased was a key witness in the ongoing murder investigation of former minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy.
According to reports, Ranganna’s death has sparked suspicion, with initial information suggesting that he might have been killed by the police. In response, Director General of Police (DGP) took to the floor during the meeting to provide a detailed briefing on the circumstances surrounding the death. The DGP confirmed that the police investigation was also treating the incident as suspicious.
Chief Minister Naidu, during the cabinet session, voiced his ongoing concerns about what he termed as “conspiracies” allegedly orchestrated by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of the opposition. It was alleged that the driver might have overheard crucial conversations that could shed light on the case, making his death highly suspicious as well.
The cabinet session highlighted a grim tally: a total of seven individuals with direct or indirect connections to the Vivekananda Reddy murder case have died under mysterious circumstances.
