Delhi Assembly Election 2025 : 46.55% Voter Turnout Recorded Till 3 PM

New Delhi : A voter turnout of 46.55% was recorded till 3 PM today, as per data provided by the Election Commission of India, reflecting a moderate level of participation in the ongoing Delhi Assembly elections.

Among the various districts, North East Delhi witnessed the highest voter turnout, with an impressive 52.73% turnout by 3 PM. The district has traditionally seen high levels of engagement, and this time too, residents appeared motivated to cast their votes early in the day.

In contrast, the New Delhi district recorded the lowest voter turnout, with only 43.10% of eligible voters casting their ballots by mid-afternoon. New Delhi, a key constituency in the national capital, has seen varying voter participation rates in past elections.

Notably, the voter turnout in the Kalkaji Assembly seat, where Delhi Chief Minister Atishi is contesting, was recorded at 41.17% till 3 PM. This constituency has garnered considerable attention due to Atishi’s prominent role in the Delhi government.

The election continues to unfold across the city, with polling stations reporting steady activity as voters head to the booths. The final turnout figure will be closely watched as Delhi heads toward the next phase of its political future.
