PM Modi Urges Jharkhand to Vote BJP for “Roti, Beti, and Maati” Security

Hazaribagh : Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on the people of Jharkhand to vote for the BJP in order to safeguard their “roti, beti, and maati” (livelihood, daughters, and land) during a rally in Hazaribagh on Wednesday. Addressing the crowd at the Parivartan Maharally, Modi characterized the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra as not just a political campaign but a vital movement aimed at securing a better future for the state.

“The BJP guarantees that the safety of these three pillars will be prioritized if we form the government here. A new dawn will rise in Jharkhand thanks to today’s Parivartan Sabha,” Modi stated, emphasizing his commitment to the welfare of the state’s women and resources.

The Prime Minister was critical of the current government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accusing it of obstructing Jharkhand’s development and fostering corruption through the Congress-JMM-RJD alliance. He claimed this coalition has betrayed voters by failing to protect the state’s natural resources. “Everyone knows that the ruling coalition has allowed the unchecked exploitation of water, forests, and land. Jharkhand will only progress when this government is ousted,” he asserted.

Modi specifically targeted the state’s tribal welfare initiatives, alleging that funds designated for these programs were misappropriated. He condemned schemes such as the Abua Awas Yojana and Maiya Samman Yojana as corrupt measures intended to mislead the public in an election year. “The people of Jharkhand must be wary of those who peddle falsehoods,” he warned.

In his speech, Modi also criticized the Congress party for allegedly neglecting tribal communities, asserting that it has prioritized a single family over the interests of many. “The Congress has failed to acknowledge the significant contributions of tribal society in the freedom struggle. Schemes have been designed in favor of one family, causing immense harm to the nation. Our government respects tribal heroes; we affectionately call Lord Birsa Munda Dharti Aaba, and in his honor, we’ve launched the ‘Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan,’” he declared.

Additionally, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s failure to deliver on job creation and support for youth and women, citing ongoing paper leak scandals that have disrupted opportunities for young people. “Exam papers have been sold under government protection, benefiting a select few while ruining the lives of countless others,” he claimed.

Modi urged Jharkhand’s residents to reject the current administration and embrace the BJP’s vision for a prosperous and corruption-free future, promising a government that truly represents the people’s interests.
