Palnadu District, 20th December 2024 – In an effort to promote road safety, Palnadu District Superintendent of Police (SP) Srinivasa Rao underscored the importance of wearing helmets for two-wheeler riders. He stated that helmets are a crucial safety measure that can save lives in the event of road accidents.
A helmet awareness rally was organized starting from the Narasaraopet 1 Town Police Station, progressing through the Railway Station, and culminating at the Police Headquarters. The initiative aimed to highlight the significance of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers and to encourage citizens to adopt safer practices on the roads.
During the rally, SP Srinivasa Rao urged the public to prioritize safety and wear helmets at all times while riding two-wheelers. He emphasized that simple precautions, like wearing a helmet and driving carefully, can significantly reduce the risk of accidents and save lives.
The event saw the participation of several key figures including Admin SP Santosh, Narasaraopet DSP Nageswara Rao, Narasaraopet Traffic CI Lokanatham, and various officers and staff from the Narasaraopet Sub-Division Police. Together, they lent their support to the campaign, reiterating the need for responsible driving and the use of helmets as a preventive measure.
