In a press conference on Wednesday, Anantapur district SP Fakirappa stated that they are unable to determine whether the contentious MP Gorantla Madhav video that has been causing a stir on social media over the past several days, is the original.
TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh opposed SP Fakirappa’s remarks. He questioned how the SP could determine that the video was a fake. He has asked for the identity of the forensic lab that produced the report. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s name has been brought up by Nara Lokesh due to his purported remarks on the contentious video. Additionally, Lokesh brought out some of the contentious occasions where Ambati Rambabu and Avanthi Srinivas, two YSRCP leaders, were purportedly referenced.
Nara Lokesh said, “SP can not determine that the video is a fake; there is a system and process to arrive for the judgement.”
While responding to abusive incidents of female violence in the state, TDP MLC also criticised CM Jagan for remaining silent following deputy CM Narayana Swamy’s offensive remarks in the Assembly. He brought up the offensive remarks that were made about her mother.
