Anantapur Police Files Case on SP, ASP, DSP

Anantapur: Anantapur district police have registered a case against the SP of Sakshattu district. Registration of atrocity case against SP, ASP and DSP based on the complaint given by the dismissed constable has now become a topic of discussion across the district. Based on the complaint of AR Constable Prakash, the Anantapur Twotown Police registered an FIR against SP Fakkirappa, ASP Hanumantu and DSP Mahbubbhasha.

In fact, the SP issued an order dismissing Prakash from his job two days ago. In the last few years, 5 criminal cases have been registered against Constable Prakash. There are cases of harassment of women, assault, supply of illegal weapons. There are allegations that a woman who came to the Spandana program was lured and Rs.10 lakhs in cash and 30 talas of gold were taken from her. Due to this, the department inquired about Prakash. As the allegations were found to be true, Anantapur SP Fakkirappa issued orders dismissing Constable Prakash.

Prakash falsely propagated through yellow media that there was a faction behind the dismissal. During CM Jagan’s visit to Chennekottapalli, Prakash protested with a placard saying SP Office Save AP Police. That’s why there were reports in Yellowmedia that Prakash was dismissed from the service. Dismissing these, SP Fakkirappa Prakash clarified that he was dismissed due to bad behavior.

However, Prakash alleged that he was dismissed due to factionalism. SP has accused many police officials of corruption. SP Fakkirappa, ASP Hanumantu and DSP Mahabubbhasha complained in Anantapur Twotown. After receiving the complaint, the police registered a case of atrocity and intensified the investigation. DIG Ravi Prakas is handling the investigation of this case.
